A pre-revenue HealthTech startup in Canada was building an AI-enabled therapy app and preparing for its pre-seed round. We made it investor-ready with a stress-tested financial model, a business valuation, a pitch deck and a guide to the questions investors would ask.
The Client asked us to build a financial model with five years of projections across several scenarios, giving a clear view of its remaining runway.
We were also to construct a pitch deck to raise funding while the startup was still pre-revenue, and to provide a business valuation and an FAQ sheet on market sentiment towards AI-enabled therapy apps.
The model had to reflect what AI technology really costs, and how the different options available could be combined to give the Client flexible, customizable budgets.
The valuation also had to bridge the gap between the founders' expectations and the realities of the broader market.
We broke down the costs of the AI technology behind the app and modeled the options side by side, so the founders could shape a budget that suited their plans.
We then projected five years ahead under best, base and worst case scenarios, and grounded the valuation in market evidence so it would hold up in front of investors.
The Client went into its investor pitch with a robust, stress-tested financial model.
With the pitch deck and FAQ document in hand, the founders were prepared for any questions that came up during the pitch.
